14 February

This day has long been commercially celebrated. Millions of flowers and chocolates are being sold during this holiday and throughout the world, everyone has their own special way of celebrating it with their loved one.

But how does this day actually become a sensational holiday?
Let’s get into a little history class:
It started with St. Valentine. Many believed that St. Valentine sent a letter to the woman he loves by signing it as “From Your Valentine” but it was actually a letter to her daughter who regains sight after believing that God answers our prayers. She was with him in his prison cell while waiting for his father’s execution. He taught her lessons in life, including faith in God bringing them close to God while praying and eventually Julia received God’s gift of sight. For me, this day has always given me a sense of hope. Back when I was still single, I always look forward to receiving cards, flowers and chocolates from students and friends in college or in the ESL world. Two (2) years ago of the same date has been a special day as I got engaged to Kokobear! We’ve been celebrating 14th of Feb for the past 7 years!

This year, I prefer to take this day between me and him… Sharing you a bit of what we have today tomorrow :)

As a greeting to all family & friends, here is a quote I would like to share.

A good friend sent me the proper description of Valentine's Day:

Its love,

When a little girl puts her energy to give dad a head massage.

 Its love,

When a wife makes tea for husband and take a sip before him.

Its love,

When a mother gives her son the best piece of cake.

 Its love,

When ur friend holds ur hand tightly on a slippery road.

 Its love,

When your brother messages you and asks did you reach home on time...

Loveis not just a guy holding a girl and going around the city.

Love is when  u send a small message to ur friends to make them smile😊

LOVE is actually a name of "care"...

 Happy Valentine's Day
